What do we do?
We’re moving forward bit by bit, hand in hand with you. We’re asking you to participate, test and react so we can make adjustments. You’ll be taking part in one of the biggest initiatives to make Montréal a leader among smart and digital cities.
How it all began
We reviewed our online services and looked at what big cities like Paris, London and Boston were offering. Then, we organized workshops with residents and city employees to talk about their needs and expectations. The conclusion: Montréal’s digital offerings were relevant, but out of date.
How can we do better?
By involving Montrealers from a variety of backgrounds and business people in workshops, enabling us to create a portrait of:
- The way you get information
- Your experience when you’re looking for information or services
- Your frustrations and the things that irritate you
This also helps us identify opportunities for improvement.
However, offering you shiny tools isn’t enough. We also need to make changes behind the scenes to offer you better service. But we’ll come back to that later.
