Finally! We were eager to show you the fruits of our efforts in recent months: beta.montreal.ca, and the new mobile application Montréal – Resident Services. These two tools, once fully developed, are going to simplify your life.
We hope you’ll appreciate beta.montreal.ca. It represents a good point of departure – a first draft, you might say, that we’ll improve with new services in the months ahead. With your contribution. The idea is always to get Montrealers involved in our continuing efforts to improve the app and thus meet their expectations and needs.
That’s why we’ve added a short questionnaire at the bottom of each page at beta.montreal.ca to find out if the page viewed meets your information or search needs. If that’s not the case, we want to know so that we can make the necessary adjustments. And we’ll continue our tests on SimpliCity, working alongside you to evaluate new developments
Simple and practical access to municipal services
Discover beta.montreal.ca! You’ll find practical information on a full slate of subjects and online services offered by the city, including on collection schedules and how to obtain a parking permit or register a pet. All content on beta.montreal.ca has been simplified.
In contact with the city from your cell phone
→ Submit a “service request.” This lets you report potholes, street furniture in need of repair (a park bench, for example), problems related to cleanliness, etc. This service is currently the subject of a pilot project in eight boroughs.
→ Create your personal account, which records all your interactions with the city and lets you subscribe to various services while tracking the progress of your steps.
→ Register to receive notices or alerts concerning incidents likely to disrupt your day-to-day life, with the option of registering up to five separate addresses (your home and work addresses, for example).
